In my own opinion, i have thought that most people ignored the wars going on in the world right now because they simply don't care for or don't have time for politics or that they simply don't understand the larger implications of what wars in this day and age really mean… I say this because if we reflect on the wars that are being waged in the middle east and surrounding areas as you are reading this, they all started back in 2001, well I'm sure your aware of the fact its not 2010 and we are still there, and aside from the question of "why" what startles me the most is how the military might of the entire United States struggles to combat alleged, and i emphasis alleged "insurgents and terrorists" in these countries.
The plot keeps thickening as they say, because now of course the question of "shall we invade Iran" is on the table, of course because the government puts forth its reasons, but how can we possibly believe them given their past track record, specifically their debacle with the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" that have now been confirmed to never have existed in Iraq.
Before i go any further, let me make it perfectly clear, i understand that throughout history there have been legitimate reasons to go to war with other countries, and at times it does become the only option, however in regards to the current wars being waged by the united states and its allies in the middle east, i think these wars not only never should of happened, but that we need to pull out immediately.
Why?
well my opinion is that we never should have gone there in the first place, however even if we did go, or were forced to, we should never have been there as long as we have. Maybe the military knows something important that cant be told to the public, Maybe their really is a larger sinister objective to these wars (as is my opinion) Or maybe they really believe that the war will soon be over and liberty will be brought to these countries… well, whatever the reason may be, lets take into account a few things…
If these countries really posed any significant threat to us, in the length of time this war has been waged, would we not have suffered another major attack on our home soil's? Is the economic situation of the United States currently in turmoil and threatening to collapse if measures are not done to reverse its debt problem? And can someone please explain to me, Why America, backed by its allies, seems to think it has the right to police the world? We have all that has transpired, all the lies and propaganda, and of course these startling point questions i have raised, yet we still see government spending being passed to prolong the war, $59 billion to be precise.

Would that money not been better spend solving the current national debt problem? or am i just wishful thinking?
